JAQUELINE SIN-CLAIRE

Jaqueline Sin-Clair brings a little mischief, an easy laugh and a talent for turning a casual session among friends into an evening nobody wants to end.

Longtime friends Jaqueline and Rani Stetie have shared spontaneous sessions, playful outtakes and more laughter than any recording could contain. Chez Nous (Demo Sessions) gathers some of those leftover moments, dusts them off and gives them a fresh life, with affection, humour and absolutely no ambition to behave too seriously.

There’s jazz to fall for, a radio to turn up and good days worth dancing back to. When one says yes, the other says “No, no, no!” At chez nous, dinner can wait, the cat chooses your seat and your worries stay outside. Tomorrow can look after itself.

With a wide repertoire of songs and many records produced over the years, songwriter and producer Rani Stetie brings a more personal side of his musical world to this collaboration with Jaqueline. These are songs for good company, unhurried evenings and the pleasure of simply being together.

A little jazz, mellow lounge moods and a wink to the eighties. Make yourself comfortable. You came for one song? You might stay for coffee.
